Due to the highly developments of the power semiconductors and microcontrollers, the compact, light weight and high efficient electronic devices is the goal of most of the manufactares to persuit and it is no exception for the tendency of power converter development. The fundamental of switching power converters will firstly be analyzed and designed in this thesis. Later, the power converter will be modellized for the IsSpice simulation software package to simulate. The open and close loop controls of the power converter will be compared each other. Based on the simulation results, a power converter will be realized and implemented in this thesis. The experimental results show the verification for the design and implementation of the power converter.
