With the damage to the natural environment nowadays, it is urgent for us to think how to drink good water and how to improve the purification equipment which can make water quality more suitable for people after treatment. In this research, the diatomite is used as the basic material of the ceramic filter and the Brazil tourmaline is also used as functional materials. By mixing the stuff and pinching the mud, the materials become plastic enough. Then, the method of vacuum extrusion is adopted to make embryos. After drying, the embryos are sintered in 950°C, and then it will be found that the percentage of effective holes between 0.42μm and 2μm can be more than 80%. After sintering under 950°C, the Brazil Tourmaline that is added to the filtration materials will increase the radiation rate of far infrared rays from 0.929 to 0.944. It is found that the appearance of Magnesioferrite is the factor that can increase the far infrared ray in the process of the heat treatment of Tourmaline. The water produced from the purification of this research is used to observe the plant growth. It can be proved that the water through this purification is helpful to its growth and the prevention from withering. In this research , the water cleaner not only can release far infrared rays and anions but also can filter water with multiple layers . We can easily change filters by ourselves.
