Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 哲學研究所 === 98 === Using Philosophical counseling as a new approach for counseling, there are many arguments about philosophical counseling, like its orientation and its scope, and the differences between philosophical counseling & psychotherapy. Because the methods and goals of philosophical counseling and psychological counseling are somewhat similar in practice, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between philosophical counseling and psychotherapy. So this paper starts from psychology texts and discusses some psychotherapy involved in philosophical theories. Philosophical counseling is a new field which is developing. It also lacks basic research in Chinese language world, so this paper is trying to provide a general picture for Philosophical Counseling. And furthermore, this paper tries to justify two points: First, philosophical counseling essentially is a kind of philosophical dialogue. Second, philosophical counseling is distinguished in both ethical and value systems. These fields could be one of the two main fields in philosophical counseling and could be even more distinguished with the use of psychotherapy.
