Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this study was to understand perceived coach’s leadership behaviors and athletes’ satisfaction according to the Table Tennis athletes in Elementary Schools of Taipei County. The athletes were evaluated through the Perceived Coach Leadership Behavior and Table Tennis Athletes’ Satisfaction Questionnaire. The statistical analysis of the study included descriptive statistical methods. The data analysis were computed by one-way MANOVA, Scheffe’s post-hoc comparison, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The results of the study showed that: (1) athletes perceived their coaches with high training and instruction and positive feedback dimension values, with intermediate social support and democratic behavior dimension values, and with the lowest autocratic behavior values; besides, athletes revealed more satisfied with coach’s leadership behaviors than their performances; (2) athletes with different gender, practice time, and experience had significant differences of perceived coach leadership behaviors; (3) athletes that displayed different experience and practice time had relatively different athletes’ satisfaction of coach’s leadership behaviors; (4) the relationship between perceived coach leadership behavior and athletes’ satisfaction was positive correlated.
