Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this study was to understand the important degree and complete degree of professional knowledge and skill competencies in rugby coaches. The researcher-designed questionnaire was used to collect data with 104 rugby coaches. The SPSS for Windows 12.0 software was used to analyze data through means, standard deviation, t-test and one way ANOVA. The results were followed: Ⅰ. Overall, this study showed that the rugby coaches are all male. Their age is between 30 and 34 years old. They are all college graduates and majorly work in the junior high school. Also, most of them are both PE teachers and part-time coaches whose experience ranges from one to three years at most, and most of them have already owned Level A instructor certificates. Ⅱ. The evaluation result showed that the rugby basic training and operating ability is the highest in the important degree of rugby coaches in professional knowledge and skill competencies. Ⅲ. The evaluation result showed that the complete degree is mainly focused on the rugby basic training and operating ability in the professional knowledge and skill competencies. Ⅳ. The complete degree of different demographic variables, professional knowledge, and skill competencies is has obvious difference in the evaluation which showed in age, education , companies, positions, the total seniorities, and the level of the instructor certificate. Ⅴ. The obvious difference between different demographic variables, professional knowledge and skill competencies showed in the education, the level of the instructor certificate and the highest player’s level. Ⅵ. The relevant important degree of the professional knowledge and skill competencies showed in the basic rugby skill training and operating ability, which was irrelevant with the complete degreee. As to the complete degree in the theory of the rugby training, it has nothing to do with the important degree. The others are obviously relevant with the complete degree and important degree.
