1. Exploring current situations of the principal's supervision of instruction on teaching
2. Analyzing how the correlation between each variable and teachers’ perceptions on principal's supervision of instruction on teaching differs from that of another (including such variables as teachers’ backgrounds, principal's genders, and environment)
3. Studying teachers’ attitudes toward principal's supervision of instruction on teaching in Taoyuan-county primary schools
4. Researching how the correlation between each variable and teachers’ attitudes toward on principal's supervision of instruction on teaching differs from that of another (including such variables as teachers’ backgrounds, principal's genders, and environment)
5. Submitting suggestions according to research output to provide reference for primary- principal's supervision of instruction on teaching
This research adopted questionnaire survey method. Research instrument was Questionnaire “Research On principal's supervision of instruction on teaching in Taoyuan-county primary schools” being used for conducting data collection from teachers in Taoyuan county. The population amounted to 962 persons in this research with usage of stratified random sampling. Questionnaire response rate averaged at 85.7%. Frequency distribution, percentage, t-testing and single factor analysis of variances were conducted on the data collection. Statistics analysis was applied on returned-questionnaires.
The investigation analysis concluded as below for this research:

Teachers’ different backgrounds would cause significant differences among teachers’ perceptions on principal's supervision of instruction on teaching
Teachers’ overall attitudes toward principal's supervision of instruction are assumed to be at upper level.
Teachers’ different backgrounds would cause significant differences among teachers’ attitudes toward principal's supervision of instruction.
The aforesaid was used to conclude and submit relevant suggestions to provide reference research for educational authority, primary school principals, primary-school teachers and researches in the future.
