| Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 跨文化研究所翻譯學碩士在職專班 === 98 === The main purpose of this thesis is the study of the past 22 year historical trend of the translation contest of Liang Shih-ch’iu literature award.
The translation contest of Liang Shi-Chiu literature award has been hosted for 22 years, but there are too few related articles or information about this event that almost represents the most important translation contest in Taiwan. Currently, it is the only competition character event that needs to formulate questions for the participants.
For introduction, there is an analysis of the event background and an explanation of the method used during the research. Next step, there is another analysis of how the questions are formulated, and a study of the appraiser suggestions for the winners’ translation pieces. Later, there is an analysis of the submission numbers of the translation pieces over these 22 years.
This research includes the analysis of the appraisers’ background and their interviews, the study of the winners’ background and the questionnaire. Finally, there’s a discussion of the above analysis and a result after integrating the relationship between all of them.
