The results found the high frequency of participating in recreational sports was accompanied with family, in 30 minutes, in the afternoon, near residence, less than 10 minutes to the sporting location by walk, and no money spent on sports. The sources of messages were most from broadcasting and television. The first five items of recreational sports were walking, badminton, mountain climbing, bicycle riding and picnicking. The first five obstructing factors were busy in work and home, no appreciate sporting arrangement in hospital, no one accompanied, and the facilities and equipment not enough. The level of obstructive factors were no significant difference in education, marriage, monthly income, current position, and ward type, but was significant difference in gender, age, and working time.
