Abstract
This research analyzes international tourist hotel industry in terms of industrial competitiveness, and studies how Taiwan’s international tourist hotels can promote their competitiveness under this fierce competition of industrial environment. This study uses environmental analysis and Kaplan and Norton’s balanced score card to help industries to accomplish their vision and strategy. We examine the industrial performance based on the following four cornerstones: 1. Financial aspect. 2. Customer aspect. 3. Internal workflow aspect. 4. Study and growth aspect, and finally, study the competitiveness analysis in terms of industrial analysis and evaluation. This research designed the respondent multiple chose questionnaire based on the hierarchical model, and used the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) to study the financial analysis and industrial evaluation of international tourist hotel.
The findings of this study show that among the seven major hierarchy aspects which affect the financial analysis and industrial evaluation of international tourist hotel, “Information and Circulation Aspect” has the highest weight percentage of 0.3265, the second is “Product and Application Aspect” , which is 0.2921, and “Organization Performance Aspect” is 0.2133; “Landscape Design Aspect” is 0.1771, “Customer Management Aspect” is 0.1435, “Resource and Potential Aspect” is 0.1153, and finally, “Product Services Aspect” is 0.1086.
A good Performance Evaluation Index System can help the business owner of international tourist hotel turn into the top leader among his many competitors, and the customer in choosing the best international tourist hotel. This system also provides key factors and guidance of performance evaluation for business owners, and may help them to recognize the direction of their business effort and progress, and serve as references for customers in choosing their international tourist hotel.
