Summary: | 碩士 === 開南大學 === 公共事務管理學系 === 98 === The preferences of publics in policy-making process have always been foundational value in democratic society. Therefore, the implementation of policy is not only pursuit of rationality and accountability, but also needs “marketing” its policies vigorously for gaining support from the publics. This paper uses a policy marketing perspective to analysis processes of Taipei City government’s drive for energy-saving and carbon reduction. The main aim of research is seeking for if these marketing actions facilitate the output of energy-saving and carbon reduction policies. After empirical analysis and interviews, it concludes that informing/educating approach would be the best way for governments to promote relevant environmental policies. Also, a better interaction with some partner groups may facilitates to obtain the goal of low carbon-emission life.
