Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士在職專班 === 98 === The resources of small and medium-sized enterprises are usually inadequate. The growth in business capacity and the trusts of customers can be achieved by means of the cooperation among the subcontractors in a vertical way. The inter-relationships of the enterprises, suppliers and customers give consideration to not only the cost but also the survival and growth of the enterprises. When considering to cooperate with other companies, an enterprise, in fact, take account of the relationship benefits. If a cooperative relationship leads to favorable effects, the approach of cooperating with other companies will be adopted. This study, by means of system dynamics simulation, is focused on the interactions of a case company and the members of its supply chain (i.e., subcontractors). Under a long-term cooperative relationship, members of a supply chain have developed basic trust. However, any actions taken by the individual members to protect their own interests may damage the base of the collective trust of a supply chain. Consequently, the reactive tactics and responsive strategies can harm the long-term stability of the supply chain. When the case company invested in its subsidiaries to increase the capacity of productivity and sources of supplies, its internal and external network relationship must be adjusted and re-regulated. Consequently, the importance of the roles of individual members in a supply chain is changed; the cooperative strategies and partnership in the supply chain are accordingly affected. The simulation found that as the trust of the suppliers in the case company was damaged and the trusts relationship showed exponential decay, the increases in productivity capacity and supply source become unobtainable. Several strategies implemented afterward in attempt to elevate trust or suppresses the deteriorated trust relationships still failed. Finally, it came down to only one possibly working strategy-replacing the original suppliers to achieve the ultimate goals of investment.
