Due to economic development and increase of national income, people have sufficient time to be engaged in recreational activities. In the meantime people starts to focus on travelling quality anc contents. For the last few years, Vietnam experiences a stable political situation and rapid economic growth. Except industrial development, Vietnam is equippd with abundant natural landscape and ancient heritage. Compared to other countries, the expense is lower which is favored by tourists. This paper mainly focuses on “A study of tourist motivation and satisfaction of Vietnamese for Ha Long Bay” and chooses Ha Long Bay, that is located at Northern Vietnam and has world’s famous cutural heritage. This study utilizes sampling questionnaire and mainly realizes: 1. Vietnamese tourists’ travelling characteristics, motivation and satisfaction. 2. the relationship between motivation and satisfaction of Vietnam tourists to Ha Long Bay. 3. This research result hopes to benefit local tourist development. This study uses SPSS 14.0 statistical software for data processing. This method includes descriptive statistics, item analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, independent-sample t test, one way ANOVA, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result shows that there are significant differences between their income and career, on the other hand, the other item have no significant difference. This research suggests the travelling agents should enforce the quality management for merchandise, take care of environmental and hygiene issues, the authorities concerned should focus on culture as main axle to make a popular package to maintain the customer population and integrate local resources. Futhermore, they can hold some theme activities which arouse the foreigners interests and increase the positive behavior of tourists. However, government should be dedicated to improving and integrating the above-mentioned issues, arrange the integrated schedual based on the guidelines of hotel and spectal landscape, and propose some incentive program to increase the number of tourists who travel to Ha Long bay. In addition, the traffic firms, the catering firms, and landscape authorites could take strategic alliance to give preferential discount on product or the cost of transportation and let tourists deeply experience the leisure by integrating kinds of activities on seasons.
