In recent years, Taiwan has more and more serious disasters when typhoon occurs, after the earthquake 921, the geology became unstable and plus improper mountain development, and debris flow in mountain area always happen whenever typhoon comes with huge rains that cause more serious problems. In this study, in order to understand the relationship between characteristics, of topographic and debris flow that can effectively reduce the debris flow occur, the HEC-RAS software was used for simulation debris flow And FLO-2D software for two-dimensional simulation of debris flow. The datas of topographic measurements and the cross-section be used to HEC-RAS and FLO-2D for calculations and simulation, the result show that the energy of its changes, and can effectively reduce the occurrence of debris flow.
