| Summary: | 碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 國際企業研究所 === 98 === In the twenty-first century, in order to continue the civilization of human, to protect the environment of earth and to ensure life quality of human, "sustainable development" becomes a consensus of human society, while the education is an indispensable link to promote the work. In the recent years, the sustainable of domestic campus has made an evident progress under the efforts of the Ministry of Education. Nevertheless, how are the indicators of green university of domestic university going? How about the differences in the indicators of green university between public and private schools? What are the indicators of green university on environmental literacy of students? These are the primary objects of the research.
This study is based on indicators of green university which are developed from 2002 to 2005. And 459 copies effective questionnaires are collected. We use the statistical analysis, such as T-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. It indicates the difference between the public and private universities in environment problems and influences by environmental literacy of students of green university. Then we will give some suggestions to impact the policies of universities in future.
Based on the data analysis contained in the suggestions from this research is as the following: (1) each school should set up environmental monitoring system, (2) to strengthen recycling and kitchen waste management, (3) each school should combine the environmental policy into the mid/long term developing plans, (4) the security management of laboratory and training factory should be emphasized in order to prevent accidents, (5) to emphasize energy conservation environmental education etc. In general, we hope the study could support the universities to gain the good concepts and policies from this research and make all academic crews and students to join the plan in campus.
