Description
Summary:碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 資訊科技應用研究所 === 98 === RFID is a system that transmits the identity of an object or person wirelessly, using radio waves; the RFID technology does not require contact or line of sight for communication; RFID data can be read through the human body, clothing and non-metallic materials. The RFID technology can be found in Supply Chain management, Security and Access Control, Warehouse management, Medical care, Transportation management, Library and Archive, Automatic control and Electronic Tickets stored-values, etc. With government promoting the RFID technology for the past 10 years, it has begun to gain attentions from all sides. This research uses the RFID wireless feature to develop a technique that has advantage over the traditional bar code which is easily affected by damp and cold, pollution, and wear and tear. In this study, the RFID system is used to control the eBook download process; such as the eBook Web address is encrypted through DES (Data Encryption Standard) and written into a Tag; when user with the proper Tag trying to download the eBook, the Tag is decrypted by the system software and once verified, the eBook can be downloaded into user's handheld device, such as, personal computer, PDA and eBook reader, etc, at anytime and anywhere within the pre-defined range.
