A quantitative approach was taken and the purposive sampling was used to choose the participants, hence a total of 300 female teachers of junior high school in Kaohsiung City (98 academic year) participated in this study. The collected quantitative data were computed and analyzed via descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, Person product-moment correlation, crosstabs and Chi-square test. The Findings of this study were generalized as follows: 1.The leisure activities in the types of knowledge and life were reported as the most frequently participated while the types of technique and entertainment were the least frequently participated among the female teachers of junior high school in Kaohsiung City. 2.The highest leisure constraint was structural constraint, followed by intrapersonal constraint, and interpersonal constraint among the female teachers of junior high school in Kaohsiung City. 3.Statistically significant differences were found in leisure constraints especially in structural constraint and intrapersonal constraint regarding background characteristics and family life courses, such as age, educational background, position, income, marital status, and the number of kids among the female teachers of junior high school in Kaohsiung City. 4.Statistically significant differences were found in leisure activity participations especially in types of life, parent-kid, leisure, and indoor activity regarding background characteristics and family life courses, such as age, educational background, position, income, marital status, and the number of kids among the female teachers of junior high school in Kaohsiung City. 5.Leisure activity participations significantly correlated with leisure constraints among the female teachers of junior high school in Kaohsiung City.
