Using Taiwan’s 1000 largest manufacturing firms published by Commonwealth Magazine in 2009 as empirical samples, this paper investigates antecedents of trust toward partner and the possible moderating effect of environmental uncertainty. Findings of this research indicate that partner’s reputation, length of the relationship, and partner’s coordinated activities have significant positive influence on firm’s trust toward partner and these relationships will be moderated (lessened) by environment uncertainty.
