Associations between the Big Five personality dimensions, mediated via measures of social support and well-being were identified in the current sample (n = 435). Agreeableness is dominant personality traits among junior high school teachers, and higher scores for social support is emotional support. The main reason of influencing well-being is physical-mental health. The personality traits and social support might act as a reference in predicting their well-being, especially social support can significantly predict well-being. The results of the study suggest that the relationships between these variables and the role of social support may be more complex than previously thought.
