Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 98 === A study on evaluation recognition of the educators in taipei public child day care center Student:Chia-Chi Lee Advisor:Dr. kuo-pao Chang Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the perspectives of educators on the evaluation criteria and system in taipei public child day care center and analyze the influence of variables due to educators’ different backgrounds on the recognition in evaluation criteria and system. The research used questionnaires to investigate the perspectives of educators in taipei public child day care center and the 174 data collected from the questionnaires were sampled randomly and analyzed quantitatively. Furthermore, the raw data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t -test and 1 –way ANOVA. Based on the quantitative data analyses, the findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1. The recognition of educators on evaluation criteria is above average and the score of variables on evaluation criteria are “accuracy standards”, “utility standards”, “propriety standards”, and “feasibility standards” in sequence. 2. The recognition of educators on evaluation system is above average and the score of variables on evaluation system are “evaluation purpose”, “evaluation procedure”, “evaluation committee”, and “evaluation result” in sequence. 3. In the variable of different educators’ age, there is a significant difference in “entirety”, “utility standards” and “accuracy standards” about recognition of educators on evaluation criteria, the group “age 40-60” gave higher score than the group “age 30-39”. 4. In the variable of studied evaluation class, there is a significant difference in “entirety”, “utility standards”, “feasibility standards”, “propriety standards” and “accuracy standards” about recognition of educators on evaluation criteria, the group “have studied evaluation class” gave higher score than the group “never studied evaluation class”. 5. In the variables of service year, education, school size and major, there is not a significant difference in “entirety” about recognition of educators on evaluation criteria. 6. In the variable of different educators’ age, there is a significant difference in “evaluation purpose” about recognition of educators on evaluation system, the group “age 40-60” gave higher score than the group “age 20-29”. 7. In the variable of different service year, there is a significant difference in “evaluation purpose” about recognition of educators on evaluation system, the group “year 8-15” gave higher score than the group “less than 2 year”. 8. In the variable of studied evaluation class, there is a significant difference in “entirety”, “evaluation purpose”, “evaluation committee” and “evaluation result” about recognition of educators on evaluation system, the group “have studied evaluation class” gave higher score than the group “never studied evaluation class”. 9. In the variables of education, school size and major, there is not a significant difference in “entirety” about recognition of educators on evaluation system. To sum up, this study has tried to provide some suggestions to the administration of social welfare, the child day care center, the educator and the future study to improve evaluation system and raise children educational quality.
