Through staffs from various functions, companies expect to make use of their ability and professional skills to solve the problem to the system development. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of the composition, ability, and interaction to the project team, and whether they would rather affect the project performance or not. In this study, we collected knowledge diversity, expertise of staff, and literatures of shared knowledge. This study here is to explore how knowledge diversity, expertise of staff and shared knowledge influence the project performance, and takes shared knowledge into mutual understanding, project goals and operational objectives to explore that under the different levels of shared knowledge, how knowledge diversity and expertise of staff influence the project performance. We collected data from project managers in information system industry, and verified the hypotheses by statistical analysis. The results exhibit that the expertise of staff will decrease the project performance, shared knowledge is positively related to performance on the project, and shared knowledge would positively moderate the relationship between expertise of staff and the project performance. In the projects, different levels of shared knowledge in project performance will also show significant differences. Yih-Ping Cheng 鄭毅萍 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 70 zh-TW
