Describe the most popular kinds of sports, the peculiarities of each of the sport and its rules and regulations, name some famous sportsmen or sportswomen, and assess their role in modern society. Nowadays most of the Taiwanese are keen to watch sports matches and are more eager to get to know about sports news. Therefore a prose of sports becomes a useful medium to promote sorts and its benefits as well as create awareness of various sports. Developing the sports prose involves getting comments, ideas and views from sources such as players, commentators, referees, as well as the sponsors. Therefore a good sports essayist would have the resources and connections to approach and conduct primary research from the right persons in order to provide information which are current and accurate to the situation.
