Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 99 === This thesis presents the design and implementation of an FPGA-based PWM controller to control the brushless DC motor. The model of the BLDC motor has been constructed using MATLAB/SIMULINK, so that one can evaluate the performance of the BLDC motor control with various control scheme using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The construced model consist of a BLDC motor dynamics block, a Hall-sensor signals generation block, a back-emf block, and a PWM generation logic block. Then the PSIM is used to cosimulation. The results are compared to verify the design and analysis of the PWM controler. The digital control circult has been designed using VHDL hadware description language. The designed control circult has been implemend on Altera Cyclone EP1C12F256 FPGA logic device. The motor drive uses PM-3000 modules to drive three types of motors. The system can change the PWM command to control the motor speed so as to verify the correctness of system.
