Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 98 === LED lighting technology is an emerging energy technology conforming to the environment protection issue. However, an axis-symmetric LED lens design is required to meet this lighting demand. This research investigates the injection molding process for the LED lens; commercial software package, Moldex3D, was used to simulation the process. Taguchi experimental design methodology was used to identify the significant factors affecting quality characteristics of the process; the quality characteristics select surface roughness (Ra), surface waviness (Pt), and the average illuminance (Lux). The result of experiment revealed that the significant factors affecting the quality in the injection molding process are packing pressure, followed by injection pressure, melt temperature, cooling time and packing switch-over. Although the effect of the process parameters is not significant as far as surface contour precision and illuminance are concerned, the factors are significant for surface roughness of the optical lens.
