| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工業設計學系碩博士班 === 98 === Despite that the researches about the appetite of children has widely been developed, only the relation between food and environment is discussed however. The relation between the tablewares and the appetite of children is rarely studied. Therefore, Kansei Image of Kid’s Tableware is discussed in this study, to help the parents or the carers in choosing the plates, and also to serve as a good reference for the designers of meal plate.
In this research, the two factors, “image” and “color set” are utilized. Five images and seven color sets of meal plate are combined and the Rating Scale of each combination is evaluated by Sort. The connection between the adjectives and advertisement preference is analyzed by the statistic software SPSS, and the combination of form and color set of the standard sample plate is decomposed by Dummy variable Regression Analysis. Finally, whether the form and color set of the plate has any effect on the children before school age is examined.
The result of the study: 1) “Special” and “cute,” along with a colorful appearance, is the combination that achieves the highest evaluation in color analysis. In addition, “special” and “cute,” along with a concretism form, achieve the highest evaluation while, when along with a bowl form, achieves the lowest evaluation in image analysis. 2) In the examination of advertisement preference and image, the advertisement preference and image of “cute” has the strongest connection. 3) Whether there exists any food on the plate doesn’t affect the evaluation of children, but the plate whose colors or patterns are veiled by food has low evaluations. The images that are affected are “special” and “cute,” while the image “simple” is not affected.
