Hence, it not only reflects the traditional Myth in China and Latin-America, also be regarded as a realistic epitome of Ching Dynasty and short history of Columbia, Latin-America, respectively. This thesis would demonstrate the desire of eternal return and the varied appearances of the great mother. To be more exact, the former is composed by “mother archetype” and “damsel archetype”, and the later concludes capricious looks that possesses distinctive duty, status, and power from pre-history (her-story) to history. First, the great mother Jia-Mu/Ursula, as a defender and saver of clan, her exist in mortal world witnesses the variation of whole family, house and the universe. In fact, she makes up a perfect uroboros circle while representing a starting point. Secondly, the great mother turns into the Goddess of love, who is responsible for sex and love. Take Ching Ke Chin/Pilar Ternera for example, “she” possesses a secret, seductive room. Thereafter she leads male protagonists into “her room” and enlightens them from brutal to civilized. Further I then discuss body and space, the legend of sacred harlot in temple, and the changeable identity as mother, lover, young girl in one character. Beside “mother archetype” of eternal return, in terms of “damsel archetype”, Dia-Yu/ Remedios the Beatuty matches with the characteristics of this kind of ” virgin worship”, that is, unmarried, pure, and innocent. The traits stated above connect with Goddess and pure young girls, including the reflection and transformation in each other. Finally, Petra Cotes, well-known as a seductive mistress, or notorious whore, in fact is a transformation of Goddess of love that holds magical power which can dominate the prosperity and adversity of the whole world. To sum up, the varied appearances of the great mother, from original great mother transforms into “Goddess of Earth”, then her face separates into the Goddess dominates love and beauty, further while enters in patriarchal period, “her title” then turn into sorceress, witches or other negative names. In conclusion, despite the distinctive historical background, myths and writing stories, however, two books implicitly suggest the deep unconsciousness in common, especially the desire and fascinated feelings of eternal return. The true meaning of comparative literature is to find out the mutual archetype: thoughts, consciousness, and emotions.
