Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 太空天文與電漿科學研究所 === 98 === Langmuir Probe system is widely used to measure the electron temperature and density, which are two of the basic parameters in the space plasmas. The purpose of this paper is to present a Langmuir probe system, which will be deployed for a Sounding Rocket experiment supported by the National Space Program Office (NSPO). The Sounding Rocket experiment is a coordinated space scientific experiment to study the ionospheric plasma over the Taiwan region. The Langmuir probe system is one of the science instruments of the Sounding Rocket experiment which consists of two sets of Langmuir probes, a Magnetoresistive Magnetometer, a flux-gate Magnetometer, an Ion Energy Analyzer, and a neutral Particle Analyzer. The Langmuir probe system consists of a senor part, detection electronic circuits, and a signal control and data acquisition system, a deployment system that has a wire-cutting system for breaking the glass that seals Langmuir probe from moisture. By testing the Langmuir probe system in the space plasma chamber, we have identified problems associated with the Langmuir probe electronic circuits and data acquisition associated with the Langmuir probe measurement. The Langmuir probe system is now validated with the design goal.
