| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 系統及船舶機電工程學系碩博士班 === 98 === The purpose of the present is development of an integration system which consists of database, geographic information system, Silverlight. The system focuses on the valuation of fishing boats activities and the variation of fish-catching around Taiwan coast which are indispensable for protection and conservation of marine resources.
The database collected a variety of information like voyage track data by VDR (Voyage Data Recorder), catch data, vessel background, ocean surface temperature data, and ocean chlorophyll α data. By using SQL (structured query language), we are able to set various conditions and get the corresponding results in the order we need immediately.
For make the reader a better understanding of fisheries information data, using geographic information system the above mentioned results are shown in visual image on geographic map.
Finally, by using Silverlight provide services on website. The services include map services, graphic and chart. All information will display on the web page. Let users can understand, compare data, analyze data quickly and easily by on internet.
This system not only offers useful data for the public service officer in making policies but also analyzes the transition of the fish-catching in specific area and season as well, which is very helpful for protection and conservation of marine resources.
