Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電信管理研究所 === 98 === With the rapid evolutions of wireless communications, embedded systems technology and battery technology, sensor network has developed swiftly. Location system, one of the sensor network applications, is widely used in medical, plant and personal positioning. GPS is the most well-known positioning system. However, it cannot be used for indoor positioning. This research measures the received signal strength (RSS) by using a spectrum device. After collecting RSS at different reference node into a database, the measure result is used to measure the blind node by triangulation positioning method. The positioning system proposed in this study can be viewed as a regional positioning system. The proposed method can be applied to indoor and outdoor positioning of family orientation items and factory goods etc. In the future, this system can also be combined with different technologies, such as RFID.
