Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 台灣文學系碩博士在職專班 === 98 === Instead of just doing research on folk literature such as folk stories, ballads and so on, the present study was to investigate the application of folk literature to Taiwanese native language teaching materials. Five chapters were included in the present study. Chapter One consisted of the study motivation, study purpose, study range, study limitations and study methodology. Chapter Two was literature review including the definition of folk literature and Taiwanese native language teaching materials, the literature review on folk literature and Taiwanese native language teaching materials, the development history of Taiwanese native language teaching materials and finally, the designing ideals on Taiwanese native language teaching materials. Chapter Three explored the arrangement of folk literature in elementary school native language teaching materials. The first part was to investigate and compare the arrangement of folk literature among five versions of elementary native language teaching materials. In addition, the Taiwanese spelling systems in the five versions of elementary school native language teaching materials were presented and compared. Then the word selections in the five versions were explored. At last, the word form, word pronunciation and word meaning among the five versions were investigated. Chapter Four was about the content on folk literature in the elementary school native language teaching materials. The first part was the sorting ways of Taiwan folk literature. Second, types of Taiwan folk literature were presented. The third part was to investigate the types of Taiwan folk literature applied to elementary school native language teaching materials. Finally, the arrangement of these types in elementary school native language teaching materials was investigated. Chapter was the summary and suggestions. The present study brought the nature of folk literature including experience, knowledge, culture, education and transmission to native language teaching materials, thus making the designations of native language teaching materials global rather than local.
