The results showed that the peak potential shifted negatively and the wavelength of absorbance showed a red shift as the pH value increased. In addition, the OH substituents at different locations also affected the oxidation potential of acetamidophenol and analogues. The second topic involves the study on the cyclic voltammetry and spectroelectrochemistry characters of carbamazepine and analogues. We observed that the redox potentials of carbamazepine and analogues were affected by the electron-withdrawing group and the different functional group of the middle ring .
