Abstract
The Sun Moon Lake is a famous national scenic area. Schools at all levels also come here for outdoors learning. The Sun Moon Lake is a collective memory of all people in Taiwan. It is very necessary to construct the ahead dissertation and experience of tour study circle.
Five mini primary and secondary schools around the lake district only have 200 more students totally. The Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration provide funding and resources, combined with lake district 5 schools built on land characteristics, cultural and eco-learning platform, and to build the Sun Moon Lake featured tour study circle by the strategic alliance way. They hope through implementing the different courses and teaching style, to provide real context survey and learning.
This study mainly focuses on the alliance tour study circle, investigating its necessity and value, what’s the internal members of the organization thinking and operating mode, and how to import the professional assistance to integrate and market for sustainable management. After a year and a half observation, depth interviews with 20 people, three focus group discussion, the analysis results are as follows:
1.The tour study circle units all agree the consensus of the necessity and value to promote the tour study.
2.The government agencies or private businesses have their own niche considerations for the tour study circle alliances mode. It must maintain a certain balance.
3.The key factor of the link of tourism resources and characteristic tour study education, is the professional dissertation, human and technical capacity support.
4.It has ignited a common bright spot of the integration and marketing strategies of the characteristic tour study circle. Yet the relevant units think that the subject should be strengthened to sustainability management.
The conclusions of this study are as follows:
1.The Sun Moon Lake tour study circle practical course is a good model.
2.Through the concern by the outside world and the media effect will drive the tour study circle wave in the Taiwan island.
3.We propose the tourism units and educational institutions to jointly promote tour study education, urging “the education process in the recreation way, and learning by the recreation results”. Let’s create a win-win opportunity for tourism, leisure and educational practice.
