Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 運動科學研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study was to investigate how young learners change the angles of their heads in writing while using dynamic tripod grasp and lateral tripod grasp as well as the difference of the EMG of forearm muscles. 48 elementary school students, which were 24 high graders and 24 low graders, participated in this project. 12 high graders and 12 low graders used dynamic tripod grasp and the others used lateral tripod grasp. Two Sony cameras (30Hz) were used to record how students change their flextion, abduction, and internal rotation of heads during writing. Moreover, the EMG was utilized to record their carpi radialis longus and flexor carpi ulnaris of forearms as well as the EMG of abductor pollicis longus. All collected data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA, independent samples(α=.05).The findings of this study were as follow: 1.There is significant difference (p<.05) to the average of flextion between dynamic tripod grasp and lateral tripod grasp in pupils』 writing. Additionally, students who write in dynamic tripod grasp show larger angle with their flextion than those who use lateral tripod grasp. 2. Different grasps caused no significant difference (p<.05) to the EMG of forearm muscles. 3.Low graders consume more energy than high graders (p<.05) when they implement more difficult writing in a single grid. Lastly, the implication and suggestions for this study have also been mentioned. this study indicates that it is better for learners to learn dynamic tripod grasp, but the sophisticated muscles development of young learners should be finely concerned. Students should pay more attention on the flextion of head and the grasping position when they use lateral tripod grasp.
