The companies of third party logistics eagerly utilize new technology in operation to increase competitiveness and their positioning in the market, however the Japanese companies in Taiwan have different concern between local companies or other foreign companies when they select a third party logistics’ service provider., they would like to pay more cost to the third party logistics’ service providers and the most of all clients were Japanese enterprise of the Japanese logistics companies in Taiwan. This research focuses on the internal demand and external competition of Japanese companies in Taiwan that used the expert questionnaire and applied Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify their weights and ranks by analyzing collected questionnaires. This research found on four top elements which are apart the 16 elements that are “satisfactory with customer service (23.20%)”, “satisfactory with delivery service (16.19%)” , “charge of service (9.50%)” and “accurate in stocks (8.74%)”. The most important components for Japanese companies are “service quality (59.47%)”, “companies development (16.49%)”, “cost issue (13.5%)”, and “professionalism (10.51%)” when they select a third party logistics’ service provider. This research can be an evaluative selection mode in choosing the third party logistics’ service providers for Japanese enterprise in Taiwan, and provide a reference to make the development strategy to the third party logistics’ service provider.
