| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 美術學系 === 98 === The focus of this study is to explore the dynamic relationship among self-state, female identities and body image based on personal creativity. The character conflict, emotional struggle and self-conscious between inner-self and external values upon the female is investigated as well. As a result, the female identity leads to the emotional struggle and separation of self in both real life and inner sensibility, thus hinders the harmonization of the body and the mind. Through the transparency of glass and images, the state of mind of the female as well as the value and significance of society are depicted. The unseen predicament of the female is therefore portrayed.
The work focuses on the constraint, the conflict and the contradiction of the female roles in their daily life, their homes, and different space and environments. Women are more concerned about the fragmented details of daily life compared to man. The impacts of the society on women are more profound than on man. During the dialogue between the female body and the space, the female body becomes an object unwillingly placed anywhere. While the souls were extracted temporarily, causing brief enjoyment yet losing the self-conscious in real life. Regardless of all things fleeing and changing, time stands still as condensed air. Minds do not shift, but the space and the body relocates. The changing and flowing of space result in the movement of the mind.
This work possesses the characteristics, such as fragile and invisible, bright and broken, reflecting yet projecting, intertwining between the female body and mind and the space bringing the restrain, impairment and erosion to them. The space and living status are inter-correlated; both are affecting and overlapping with each other. They create the characters of the space and also shape the living status. People as the creators of the space are walking into the black hole of it. Mastering and relying on the details of space often affect the mobility of the female in the space. Through the artistic observation of this work, the close relationship between the female life status and the space will be described in detail. Finally, an integration of attitudes based on the experiences of inventive creation will be formed for inspiring the energy and direction of the upcoming creation.
