At present, for greenhouse gas emissions, which is based on the vast majority of econometric and mathematical programming method to explore the global, national and economic-oriented industries such as energy conservation and carbon reduction issues. However, from the "urban planning" point of view try to understand the distribution of urban green space and the future status of the development of new green space could be the possibility, proposed in response to reduction of carbon dioxide under the green strategy, a view to a future urban planning or environmental management in Taiwan. This study was designed to save energy and reduce carbon point of view to create green cities, so that the residents get a more comfortable living environment with the specific purpose of exploring the distribution of carbon dioxide in Taichung City to explore the city of energy-saving methods, save energy and reduce carbon to understand the environmental impact, the final to explore ways to save energy and reduce carbon point of view to create green cities. Research methods, through research at home and abroad in addition to aggregate, but also design of interviews to collect data, interviews, targeting the central region for a considerable background or research scholars. Study found that energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions is indeed one of the work, at this stage the Government is actively promoting energy-saving measures, with the goal of which is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. According to the study of greenhouse gas emissions, Taichung City and the public is closely related to living habits, so urban residential and commercial sectors from energy and transport sectors, the two most of the set. Strategies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions could probably be divided into two kinds, one in order to prevent carbon dioxide production, two have been created for the elimination of carbon dioxide, which the tree planting with minimal impact on economic development, and most allow trading to be accepted. To enhance the effectiveness of Taichung carbon dioxide reduction is proposed deployment plan and building new tree bank strategies such as Green Park.
