Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 數位內容科技與管理研究所 === 98 === Multi-touch and Digital Signage have become the most popular interactive technology recently. Multi-touch enables multiple users in a more intuitive use of their both hands for information interaction. Digital Signage is typically used to display dynamic multimedia information to attract users’ attention in public space. Even up to date, the majority of digital signage can only offer TV-like broadcasting capability. They have none or very limited capabilities of supporting interactive information display. In this research, we combined with the advantages of multi-touch and the digital signage to develop an interactive multi-touch digital signage for digital learning from ground. The system acts normally as a conventional digital signage for displaying multimedia information for fun and pleasure. However, it also can be transformed into an interactive multi-touch multi-media system for digital learning on the fly. To motivate students’ learning outside classroom, the system was developed using Flash & ActionScript3.0 with multi-touch capabilities to offer rich interaction for digital learning with collaboration tools. To further explore the key factors of using our system for digital learning, we developed an information model for study, based on the technology acceptance model develop by Davis et al.(1989) and the information system success model developed by DeLone & McLean(2003). Our model contains six constructs: system quality, information quality, interaction quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and user satisfaction. We use SPSS and smartPLS statistics software to analyze the relationship between each construct. The empirical results show that our multi-touch interactive digital signage can really enhance users in learning satisfaction, making learning more easily and save learning time. This study not only discusses how to develop an interactive multi-touch digital signage for digital learning, but also provide in-depth discussion and suggestions for further enhancement of future development and study.
