Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 國民教育研究所(Graduate School of Elementary and Seco === 98 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between principals’ moral leadership and organizational climate of teachers in elementary school. The researcher adopted the questionnaire survey. Two questionnaires were used in this study. One is “The Questionnaire of Principals’ Moral Leadership in Elementary School”, and the other is “The questionnaire of the Schools’ Organizational Climate”, both of which were designed by the researcher. A sample of 524 teachers in five counties of central Taiwan was surveyed, and the returned data were analyzed through Descriptive Statistics, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlations and Multiple Stepwise regression analyses. The conclusions of this thesis were summarized as follows: 1. The performance of the principals’ moral leadership was approved positively by teachers, and the organizational climate of the school showed the climate was positive. 2. There were significant differences existing among the seniority, position, county, school size, principals’ term and principals’ gender when the principals’ moral leadership was analyzed. 3. There were significant differences existing among the gender, position, school area, school size, and principals’ gender, when the Organizational Climate of the School is analyzed. 4. There were significant relationships among the principals’ moral leadership and organizational climate of the School. 5. Elementary school teachers’ background and principals’ moral leadership have predicted organizational climate of the school. In conclusion, the result offered substantial suggestions to be applied to educational administration, elementary schools and further research.
