However, the literature shows that job demand and job difficulty do not necessarily link to negative results; some moderating variables can change this tendency from negative influences to positive influences even if employees face with high level of job demand and job difficulty. In this process, the impacts of group and individual affectivity can not be ignored. Therefore, this study attempts to investigate whether group-level citizenship behavior and individual-level positive affectivity would have direct effects on career choice regrets and intrinsic motivation and moderating effect on the relationship between job demand/job difficulty and career choice regrets/intrinsic motivation. This study adopted survey method to collect data. Questionnarie were directly distributed to stores of a real estate selling company—Sinyi House. For each store, 5 to 10 employees filled out the questionnaires. This study collected 526 questionnaires from 73 stores in Taipei. Three hundred and four were valid, representing a response rate of 57.7%. To achieve the standard of group-level statistics, each store needed to have at least 5 returned questionnaires. Therefore, the valid store number was 52. After data analysis, the findings about direct effects indicate that: (1) job difficulty has positive influence on career choice regrets; (2) group citizenship behavior (altruism) is significantly and positively related to on positive affective; (3) positive affective significantly influences career choice regrets and intrinsic motivation; (4) group citizenship behavior (altruism) is significantly and positively related to intrinsic motivation. The findings about moderating effect indicate that, group citizenship behavior and positive affective do not significantly influence job demand, job difficulty, career choice regrets, and intrinsic motivation. These results provide a better understanding of the process related to job demand, job difficulty and employee job attitudes. Furthermore, this study clarified the influences of group citizenship behaviors and employee affectivity in this process. Hsin-Hua Hsiung 熊欣華 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 114 zh-TW
