Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 98 === Abstract The purpose of the study is to understand the viewpoints of kindergarten teachers in Taichung County and City upon community interactions, the current practices of community interaction strategies, as well as differentiated viewpoints upon community interactions and related strategies from kindergarten teachers with variable backgrounds. The study will be used as a reference by the educational authorities, public kindergartens, teachers and prospective researchers. The study adopts the method of questionnaires and uses as the research tool “The Survey of the Community Interactions and the Public Kindergartens in Taichung County and City, “written by the researcher. The survey focuses on the kindergarten teachers of Taichung County and City as subjects. Half of the teachers under survey were extracted as research samples and there were 208 valid questionnaires returned. The data were analyzed by the statistical methods of descriptive statistics, t-Test, one-way ANOVA, and one-way MANOVA. The results are as follows: The teachers of public kindergartens in Taichung County and City highly agreed upon the needs of kindergartens with community interaction and agree upon the value of such interactions. The problem of public kindergartens and community interactionsagreed upon the most by the teachers of public kindergartens inTaichung County and City is the limited budgets in kindergartensand thus insufficient assistance provided to the community. The viewpoints of kindergarten teachers upon public kindergartens and community interactions are different due to their differences in the service years and the locations of kindergartens in Taichung County and City. Otherwise, they have no distinctive differences. The teachers of public kindergartens in Taichung County and City have employed the strategies of kindergartens and communityinteractions at a middle level. The higher level for such a practiceis the practice of “community resources integrated with education”and the relatively lower level of the practice is “mutual understanding.” The teachers of public kindergartens in Taichung County and City have no distinctive differences in their practices and strategies of kindergarten and community interactions as a result of their job functions, service years,residences within or out of two kilometers from kindergartens, the number of classes, the sources of teaching materials, and enrollment of kindergartens. Finally, the study sets forth the relevant recommendations based on the above research results with the intention to provide references for educational authorities, public kindergartens, teachers and prospective researchers.
