Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 教育學系碩士班 === 98 === This research is aimed to explore current situation of school innovaiton management, the correlation between school innovaiton management and elementary school educators’ work stress and how it might be effected by other background variables. The self-designed questionnaire of school innovation management and elementary school educators’ work stress is adopted as research instrument. The questionnaire was conducted to gather the data from 908 teachers among elementary schools in Taoyuan county, Hsinchu county, Hsinchu city and Miaoli county. A total of 606 valid questionnaires were collected at a valid return rate of 67%. The samples were analyzed by using statistic methods of descriptive covariance analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation, multiple stepwise regression. The following results were obtained: 1.The current condition of school innovation management was highly perceived by educators. 2.The educators’ perception of current situation concerning work stress was medium. 3.There were significant differences among variables of different “age”, “administrative tasks taken”, and “years of service in education” in terms of educators’ perception of school innovation management. 4.There were significant differences among variables of different “administrative tasks taken”, and “region of schools” in terms of educators’ perception of work stress. 5.There was a negative canonical correlation between these two sets of variables - “school innovation management” and “work stress”. A higher level of school innovation management was assessed; lower work stress of educators could be expected. 6. Variables of “administration innovation management” and ”innovative thinking in the curriculum and teaching” negatively predicted work stress. Based on the findings and conclusions of the research, some suggestions were given as below: 1.Suggestions to educational institutes: (1)Proceed organization restructure and human resources planning in order to adjust or increase human resources. (2)Supply sufficient resources and organize innovative training programs for schools. 2.Suggestions to school administration: (1)Build and use Human Resources Management (HRM) to dispose the manpower appropriately. (2)Organize growing group for teachers to exchange ideas and experiences. (3)Plan and execute innovation management projects well to increase school innovation management efficiency. 3.Suggestions to school educators: Manage time and schedule work well.
