While the population is growing, every part of development willstart to develop rapidly. Nowadays, because of the shrinking younger generation in Taiwan, the natural addition of population in every region comparatively slows down. As a result, the need in increasing population depends on social addition, called immigration. Jhubei City, which is in Hsinchu County, is located in Hsinchu municipal Area, which is close to Hsinchu City and Hsinchu Science Park. With its excellent location, the government policies and development, Jhubei has become the most potential in development in Hsinchu area.
Jhubei City urban planning area is the most populate-condensed area of Jhubei City. Recently, the population of Jhubei is still growing up, mainly resulting from the immigrants. This phenomenon ascribes to the perfect traffic and location. The first period of urban planning area started to expand in 1980, and the urban planning is moving toward the second and third period of urban planning area year by year. The population of the second period of urban planning area has outnumbered that of the first period of urban planning.
Through the survey researched and analyzed by Chi-square test and ANOVA in the immigrants of Jhubei City urban planning areas, it can be found that the second and third period urban planning areas are most attractive to the immigrants with high educational background and high income.
According to the different traffic facilities of every period urban planning area, they attract the immigrants from different places.
The “living-environment factor” is the major factor of immigrating. “Less noise and pollution”, ”living functions”, “housing quality”, ”cheaper housing price”, “near distance for going to school” and “dependence on relatives” mark the immigrating motives with the difference in the three period of urban planning.
“Vital functions”, “shopping”, “ opportunities of job”, “education environment”, “park and green land”, “area planning” and“ location” mark the living-environment satisfaction with the difference in the three period of urban planning. The highest rate of the whole satisfaction is the second period urban planning area, so the volition of “don’t want to migrate again” is the highest rate in three period urban planning areas.
