| Summary: | 碩士 === 南華大學 === 國際暨大陸事務學系亞太研究所碩士班 === 98 === Industry Cluster Effect has always been the competitive advantage of Taiwan. According to World Economic Forum, the competitive advantage of each country in the evaluation of these three years from 2006 to 2009, the development of industry cluster in Taiwan has always been the No.1. The experience of industry countries and the research articles in recent years tell that industry cluster can bring many competitive advantages into full play. In 1990, Michael E. Porter presented industry cluster brings many competitive advantages; one of them is infrastructure. There are more and more scholarly researches of industry cluster appear in Taiwan. It has successively presented that industry cluster brings many benefits. Because the time of delivery is shortened, how to eliminate the wasting of time becomes a very important issue. To eliminate any waste in a factory is JIT system‘s purpose and to achieve more efficient distribution on the various links of productions. High quality, low cost, fast delivery, and small and diverse are the problems that relocated Taiwanese factories will face. However, industry cluster cannot be built just in one or two days. No matter assembly factory, third factory and so on, investors moved the industry overseas through a careful consideration. Therefore, the order of moving the industry overseas, the reason of cluster, the process, the challenges they face and how to conquer it to achieve industry cluster’s advantages are what I am interested in and want to find out and study. The researcher is going to use qualitative research, through depth interviews and field research, to find out the reasons and the background of the formation of the cluster relocation at the time. I will propose my conclusions and recommendations according to the study.
