The museums are part of community''s resources where the teachers unearth educational resources. When teachers use the museums to carry out the outdoors teachings to strengthen the interaction between the students and the displays, they also need a structured active design as guidance. Therefore, many larger museums have prepared the learning sheets for schools and the general public. The design of the learning sheets will influence the visiting experience is self-evident. This thesis investigated museum learning sheets of the museums for children in junior high and elementary school from the perspectives of both the teachers and the museums. The research methods in this paper are literature analysis method and the in-depth interview method. Samples have included National Taiwanese Literature Museum, NCYU Insect Museum, Che-Long-Pu Fault Gallery, Earthquake Engineering Hall, Image Gallery and Disaster Prevention Hall of 921 Earthquake Museum.Discussions in this thesis has not only included the idea of the design and the anticipated goals of the researchers in the museums. It also deals with user’s experience from the perspective of teachers. Interviews were taken with both learning sheet designers and school teachers who had previous experience in utilizing learning sheets in their field trips. The main conclusions in this thesis are as follows: 1. The design of the museum learning sheets: to encourage the audiences to use them, the designers utilized some strategies such as overcoming obstacles in the activities, telling stories as intermediaries, providing the prizes, and designing colorful pages, cute puppet roles, interesting and various questions. 2. The usage of the museum learning sheets: most children are excited when using the learning sheets. They tried hard to find the answers from the exhibits and the boards. Some children discussed the answers each other, even asked the teachers; only a few lack of learning attitude did not join the activities positively. 3. The analysis and comparison between the design of the museum learning sheets and the teacher''s implement: (1) To sum up, the design of the museum learning sheets in Che-Long-Pu Fault Gallery, Earthquake Engineering Hall, Image Gallery and Disaster Prevention Hall of National Taiwanese Literature Museum and 921 Earthquake Museum received much higher praise. The learning sheets in the above museum have colored print in each page, appropriate and abundant content, and not too many questions. They not only suit the level of the students, but also collocate professional aesthetic pictures. Most of all, the learning effect is pretty good. (2)The designers of the learning sheets in NCYU Insect Museum have compiled three kinds of the sheets with different levels. But their design is too simple, so it can not cause student''s interest. The depth of the contents and the question types also have much to be promoted. I hope this thesis can promote the interaction between the schools and the museums, filling the gaps between both the supply and demand sides, making the design and the use of the learning sheets more perfect to promote the learning effect, and let the students become the biggest beneficiary.
