This research explored the relationship between organization characteristics and future trend of the insurance agent and broker. We also applied multivariate analysis to discuss the effects of both organization characteristics and basis population to future trend from all respondents. By factor analysis after questionnaire survey, four dimensions of organization characteristics were developed, “The ability and attitude of agent and broker,” “The system and commodity of large company,” “The image and brand of insurer,” and “The investment and finance of insurer.” Two other dimensions of future trend were also developed, “The future trend of agent and broker” and “The future trend of entire insurance industry.” By clustering analysis, two groups of respondents were developed, “The organization characteristics of agent and broker,” and “The organization characteristics of entire insurance industry.” Results showed that there were significant differences among partial population characteristics in organization characteristics as well as future trend. Finally, the research found the more forceful organization characteristics the respondents had, the profounder the influence of future trend by canonical correlation analysis.
