It depends on importing lots of goods to remanufacture for exporting demand all the time, because of Taiwan being a typical goods-output country. As a result, marine transportation plays a important role in the growth of the economy for decades. This study is focusing on stock influence and interrelationship between the companies of the marine transportation, especially 3 companies of “Evergreen Marine Corp., EMC”, “Wan Hai Lines, WHL”, and “Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., YML”. Using unit-root test, co-integrated test, error correction term and vector autoregressive model find that the stocks of these three companies does not show a unit-root result. That is stationary series. After these steps, using Granger causality test finds out the stocks of these three companies show an interrelationship. The stocks of these three companies also show a cointegrated result, and it is a long term stationary behavior. Stock of EMC leads WHL, but WHL cannot affect the stock of EMC. As result, there exists a one-way result. Furthermore, the same consequence always exists between the stock of WHL and that of YML. The research proves that the stock of YML has no relationship to that of WHL. From impulse response function analysis, the fluctuation caused by WHL will be the most severe in EMC; it caused by EMC will be the most severe in WHL. In the end, YML will take the most fluctuation effect in EMC.
