Up to now, the force transmission of the virtual force feedback gloves is through by cables, just allows roughly control the position of fingertips but unable to tracking control the gesture of finger and the force feedback of fingertips. The novel structure of these force feedback gloves will be design, fabricate and improved the drawbacks of force feedback gloves in our research. Due to the size and motion behavior, the Linear Voice Coil Motors which changing the gesture of fingertips through by linear motion were employed as actuators of the Novel Force Feedback Glove. The syringes were used to produce compressed air passing to airbags. Then the expanded airbags which were sewed on finger tabs to press fingertips such that user could catch the sensation of the tactile force feedback. Finally, the PID Controller was employed to execute feedback-control on Linear Voice Coil Motor such that tracking control the gesture of fingertips and the virtual tactile force feedback comes true.
