Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程所 === 98 === According to 2008 Annual Report of Labor Inspection, the top two manufacture occupational accidents type are “wound hazard” (26%), and “clip hazard”(21%) Therefore, increasing the safety of mechanical equipment is essential for reducing occupational accidents rate. By reviewing 46 major occupational accidents caused by machinery of non-construction industry in 2008. The research analysis the occupational accidents case caused by wrong human behaviors, and explore other precaution strategy which are different from safe management strategy. Therefore, this study offer “interlocking” as the main hazard elimination technology. When people are in danger area, the “interlocking mechanism” will send out message to let the machine out of work. So that, separation and stop mechanism will work together to let people out of damage. The following are the findings: 1. “interlocking” can be widely used in general machinery, conveyors, and lifts, and let the major occupational accidents that caused by machine will not happen again in all industry except for construction industry. 2. Using the “inherent safety” technology , the serious occupational accidents caused by the machinery maintenance will effectively be prevented including the“wound hazard”. As a result, "source control" policy is the priority. We should follow EU''s recognition system and enforce all of machinery to meet the mechanical safety directives. Moreover , manufacturer only can design the “inherent safety” machinery. If that, half of major occupational accidents accused by machinery can be reduce.
