| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 金融所 === 98 === Vietnam has attracted many foreign investors, especially after the reform and open policy of the banking industry. Undoubtedly, Vietnam is one of the overseas investment venues for Taiwanese banks. This paper explores Vietnam’s financial environment coupled with the operation and performance of Taiwanese banks in Vietnam. In addition, the investment motive of Taiwanese banks in Vietnam is analyzed, with the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the operation of Taiwanese banks in Vietnam and China, trying to provide a guide line for Taiwanese investors. To be sure, Taiwanese banks have a lot of business opportunities in Vietnam, congenial operating environment and good profits in Vietnam.
