碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理所 === 98 === The mass rapid transportation regards as the industry of the public foundation transport facilities which does not have significant economic efficiency until it become the large road network scale. In the early period of operation, the superior management of warehouse play an important role to tradeoff the cost consideration and service quality. The activity profiling and performance assessment of the warehouse could be the significant factors to achieve the lower warehouse cost and higher service quality. According to the activity profiling of the three individual warehousing practices in the mass rapid transportation, the research offers the suggestion to improve the process and operation, gives the point of view to design and control of the warehouse. First of all, activity profiling consist of the “Order Family Mix Distribution”, “Zones Per Order Distribution”, “Popularity Distribution”, “Item-Family Inventory Distribution”, and “Seasonality Distribution”. Secondly, Identify the “Warehouse Key Performance Indication” and
