Due to the historical background of the industrial revolution and the immediate advantage of the latest technologies used by European and American countries, English has become the most commonly used language for foreign exchange and international relations. Transnational organizations and businesses often use English to integrate around the staff. It would be a major obstacle if we cannot say, and write in English. While doing research, many reports had to be published in English in order to enter the international perspective. We even have no chance to keep up with the trend if we cannot read English. The situation also happened to the general public. Because of many software and help documentation are written in English, when using computer and Internet, the ability of English may also let us solve the problem faster.
On the other hand, IT equipment and the Internet also have become indispensable modern amenities. In popular culture, when we play online games, use smart phones, communities, blog, we need the Internet. Businesses use the Internet to make long-distance video conferencing, e-commerce. Students surf the Internet to complete the work. They also use the collaboration tools based on Internet to complete the document. Researchers search the database of papers on the Internet to obtain references. Whether it is as large countries, small to the family, many organizations and individuals use Internet as an essential part of everyday life.
In this article, we will discuss how to combine the English Vocabulary Learning Strategies and Internet media. We try to use the Internet media with the strategies, so that learners can use Internet to remember English vocabularies.
